Estimated at the US average residential rate (18.31¢/kWh, EIA, all charges included). Your tariff, fees and taxes differ.
How the estimate works
We multiply your monthly kilowatt-hours by a utility's average effective residential rate, which is its EIA-reported revenue divided by kWh sold. When a rate case is pending, the second figure applies the requested increase to that bill. Fuel adjustments, riders, taxes and your own tariff will change the real number, so treat it as a guide, not a quote.
